Copyright Policy

It is the policy of the Catholic University Law Review to retain copyright to all articles we publish. For information regarding reprinting all or part of any article to be made available in another journal, textbook, treatise, or course materials packet, please contact the Lead Articles Editors, Melodie Bales and Matt Saunig, at (202) 319-5159, or fax your request to (202) 319-5246. In your request, we ask that you provide the following information (if applicable):

• Name, title, address, and telephone number of the requestor;
• Nature of the use; and
• Title, author name, year, volume number, and page numbers of the article to be reprinted.

We strive to process reprint requests in a timely manner and will try to have an answer regarding granting permission to reprint within a week of the receipt of a reprint request.

In order for our articles to be reprinted in any format, we also ask that:

• Copies are distributed at or below cost;
• A proper full citation conforming to Bluebook Rule 10 is provided with the reprint; and
• Proper notice of copyright is indicated to each copy.
